Beacon Hill ApartmentsMuncie, Ind. — A team from Colliers International Indiana Region, which is led by Michael Wernke, along with the Colliers International Student Housing Group, consisting of Dorothy Jackman, Travis Prince and Sean Baird, have brokered the sale of a portfolio in Muncie, Ind. The portfolio consists of Beacon Hill Apartments, Kensington Apartments and Chesterfield Apartments. Altogether, the portfolio contains 103 units, 291 beds and a total square footage of 99,323. Each property is within walking distance to the Ball State University campus. The portfolio was listed by Wernke, who is senior vice president of investment and multifamily services, in conjunction with the Colliers International Student Housing Group, on behalf of the seller, an affiliate of DJT Student Housing Group. Beacon Hill Indy, LLC in affiliation with Birge & Held Asset Management, purchased the portfolio for an undisclosed price.
