The project consists of two new residence halls totaling 1,300 beds
Bowling Green, Ky. — Construction is continuing for a $53 million student housing project on the campus of Bowling Green State University. The public-private project consists of two buildings that will add 1,300 beds of housing to the school’s inventory. The Northwest building will total 193,000 square feet and the South-Central building will total 143,400 square feet. Construction topped out in November, and the project will be complete in time for the start of the fall 2011 semester. Lathrop, a subsidiary of Turner Construction Co. is serving as the design-build contractor. Capstone Development is the project’s developer.
