Great Falls, Mont. — Construction will begin next week for a new on-campus apartment complex at the University of Great Falls. The $1 million project will add 12 three-bedroom units to the university’s housing stock. The complex is expected to be complete by this fall. Guy Tabacco Construction is the general contractor, and CTA Architects Engineers is the project architect.
The project is being constructed as the second phase of a three-phase housing project. The first phase included the construction of Sikora Hall, a 32-room residence hall that was built last year and is located adjacent to the new construction project. The third phase is still being designed. These new construction projects are part of the university’s goal of one day housing all of its students on campus.
“Students seem to be more engaged when they are on campus, and they appreciate the convenience of being here,” says Kristi Golik, director of marketing and public relations for the University of Great Falls.
