Philadelphia — Campus Apartments has appointed Stanley Uhr as its new corporate counsel. In his new role, Uhr provides legal advice to the firm’s executive team on corporate and real estate issues ranging from corporate governance to leasing and management agreements and licensing. He also acts as the liaison for outside counsel. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar association. Uhr most recently served as vice president and corporate counsel for Deb Shops Inc., but he has previous experience with Campus Apartments. Uhr served as its outside general counsel for the firm while he was a partner at Pechner, Dorfman, Wolffe, Rounick & Cabot, a position he held prior to working for Deb Shops.
