Chapel Hill, N.C. — New owners plan improved resident services, fitness center.
Chapel Hill, N.C. — Capstone Apartment Partners has brokered the sale of Northampton Plaza, a 155-unit mid-rise student housing apartment near the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Andrew Klenk of the firm’s Raleigh office along with Brian Ford and Beau McIntosh of the firm’s Charlotte office represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer was Capstone Real Estate Investments, which is not affiliated with Capstone Apartment Partners. CREI plans to rebrand the complex as University Apartments and upgrade unit interiors, improve the building’s exterior appearance, enhance tenant services and add various community amenties.
