Tampa, Fla. — Venue at North Campus joins four other apartment communities that USF will refer students to during waves of high on-campus demand.

Venue at North CampusTampa, Fla. — The 734-bed Venue at North Campus has been added to a group of off-campus apartments that the University of South Florida’s department of housing & residential education (H&RE) is partnering with in a housing affiliation agreement. The LEED Gold certified community is managed by Greystar Student Living and is one block from campus. The other communities that are affiliated with the university are 4050 Lofts, Campus Club Tampa, The Province and Avalon Heights.

USF currently provides on-campus housing for approximately 5,400 students. Under the agreements, H&RE will refer eligible upper-class, transfer and graduate students to these five affiliated properties as alternative housing options should the demand for on-campus space exceed the capacity. Affiliated housing options are not available to first-year students, who are required to live in on-campus housing.

As the result of this initiative to create a connection with students living in the surrounding community, USF will move closer to achieving its strategic priority to be classified as “primarily residential” by the Carnegie Foundation, according to Greystar.
