Subtext to Begin Construction on VERVE Tempe Near Arizona State University

Tempe, Ariz. — Subtext is set to begin construction on VERVE Tempe, a 769-bed student housing development located at 1011 E Orange St. near the Arizona State University campus in Tempe. Expected for completion in fall 2026, the 15-story community will offer 240 units in studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom configurations. The 479,388-square-foot property will also feature 2,030 square feet of retail space. Shared amenities will include a coffee bar; study spaces with booths, pods and collaboration rooms; a game room with a golf simulator; rooftop pool deck; and a two-story fitness center and wellness area with a spa, sauna and yoga studio. The development team for the project includes ESG Architecture & Design and Brinkmann Constructors. Construction financing was provided by Kennedy Wilson.
