Dallas — Jared Everett has joined Pinnacle Real Estate Development Group as CEO. The Dallas-based company is an affiliate of Woodbury Corp. and was founded seven years ago by Jared’s wife, Christy Everett. The firm specializes in the development of affordable and sustainable student housing projects. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Jared served as managing director of university partnerships with Greystar. “Jared’s leadership will enable us to be more service- and solution-oriented, broadening our financial abilities because of his experience working for both public entities and private developers,” says Christy.

Orlando, Fla. — Orlando-based developer Development Ventures Group (the Deven Group), a subsidiary of Kajima USA and Kajima Corp., has plans to grow its student housing development portfolio to over $1 billion within the next three years. Currently, the company has $750 million worth of developments in its pipeline. The target value would equate to more than 8,000 beds. London — The Dot Group has secured a long-term strategic financing relationship with Blue Owl through its GP Strategic Capital platform, which provides minority equity and financing solutions to private capital managers. The London-based firm is looking to grow its Global Student Accommodation (GSA) and Yugo arms through the relationship with Blue Owl, which both focus on student housing. Berkshire Global Advisors served as financial advisor and Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal advisor to The Dot Group in the partnership.

New York City — Jacob Kosior has joined technology firm EliseAI as vice president of client strategy. Kosior brings over 10 years of experience in the multifamily industry to the position. In his new role, he will leverage this experience to help the New York City-based firm build products for multifamily owners and operators. Kosior most recently served as vice president of centralized services at Cardinal Group Management.

Indianapolis — Indianapolis-based The Annex Group — which develops student, affordable, workforce, active adult and market-rate housing — has appointed Nicole Nass to the role of vice president of property management. Nass, who has more than 16 years of experience in the multifamily sector, will lead the property management division. The Annex Group began offering property management services for select properties in 2022, implementing in-house management at all remaining properties in 2023. Jenni Yeagley, who previously served in the role, will take on a new role within the company.
