Charleston, S.C. — Greystar has acquired a seven-property portfolio of purpose-built student housing communities located in Australia for $1 billion. The acquisition includes UniLodge Park Central in Brisbane; Y Suites City Gardens and Y Suites on Waymouth in Adelaide; Y Suites on A’Beckett in Melbourne; Y Suites on Gibbons and Y Suites on Regent in Sydney; and Y Suites on Moore in Canberra. Columbia, S.C. — Inland Real Estate Acquisitions has purchased the Sawyer on Lincoln, a 673-bed student housing community located adjacent to the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia. Inland acquired the newly delivered property on behalf of an affiliate. The seller and sales price were not disclosed. Delivered in 2023, the 277-unit Sawyer on Lincoln features one-, two- and three-bedroom, fully furnished apartments with bed-to-bath parity. Columbia, S.C. — A joint venture between Campus Advantage and Tramview Capital Management has acquired Alight Columbia, a 700-bed student housing community located near the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia. The new ownership plans to rebrand the 206-unit property The Radley. The community offers a mix of two- and four-bedroom units alongside shared amenities including a fitness center, swimming pool, outdoor grilling station, tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and a resident clubhouse and business center. 

Clemson, S.C. — Landmark Properties has acquired The Ridge Clemson, a 616-bed student housing community located at 205 Tiliwa Court near the Clemson University campus in South Carolina. Built in 2018, the property offers 184 fully furnished units in a mix of two-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom townhomes. Shared amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, lazy river, hot tub, jumbotron, clubhouse, full basketball court, dog park, fitness center, study lounges and a coffee bar.
