Clemson, S.C. — The Preiss Co. has received as recapitalization for Collective at Clemson, a 598-bed student housing community near Clemson University in South Carolina. A $3.8 million portion of the financing will be used for property renovations, including updates to the fitness center and swimming pool, unit upgrades and improved internet services. Unit upgrades will include the addition of stainless steel appliances, refinished cabinetry, quartz countertops, updated hardware, modern backsplashes, contemporary light fixtures and 70” smart televisions. Units will also receive new interior paint and slight bathroom improvements. Located at 673 Old Greenville Highway, the community offers a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom cottage and townhome units with bed-to-bath parity.
