Joint Venture Opens Phase I of Theory Gainesville Near the University of Florida

Gainesville, Fla. — A joint venture partnership between PeakMade Real Estate and Blue Vista Capital Management has opened Phase I of Theory Gainesville, a student housing development near the University of Florida campus. The 532-bed first phase of development offers apartments and townhomes in studio through five-bedroom configurations. Shared amenities include a rooftop fitness center, swimming pool and jumbotron theater; an academic lounge with individual and group study rooms; podcast rooms; a large clubroom; multiple outdoor courtyards; and parking. The second phase of development will bring the property to a total of 861 beds. “We’ve worked closely with Peak to deliver a modern student living experience with close proximity to the campus, University Avenue and downtown Gainesville entertainment and amenities, and we look forward to welcoming University of Florida students to Theory Gainesville,” says Jason Schwartz, managing principal at Blue Vista Capital Management.
