Midtown ArlingtonDenton and Arlington, Texas — The ARA National Student Housing team of Chris Epp, Chris Bancroft and Meredith Wolff along with ARA Dallas broker Bart Wickard have represented the seller, Hammond Jones Real Estate Development Group, in the sale of a two-property student housing portfolio including Midtown Denton, near the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, Texas, and Midtown Arlington, close to the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).
The buyer was Shore to Shore Properties, a capital firm with other holdings in the north Texas area. Midtown Denton was built in 2012 and consists of 120-units and 432-beds. Midtown Arlington was built in 2011 and consists of 66-units and 218 beds. Both assets are boutique communities with numerous amenities and in locations that are in close proximity to campus and area retail.
