Bascom Group Acquires 204-Bed Community Near the University of Texas at Austin

Austin, Texas — The Bascom Group has acquired Texan 26, a 204-bed student housing community located near the University of Texas at Austin. Built in 2014, the property offers 53 units in two-, three-, four-, five-, six- and seven-bedroom configurations. Tyler Marshall and Richard Waterhouse with Matthews Real Estate Investment Services represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Trent Houchin, Ben Roelke and Ian Walker of Newmark secured financing for the acquisition through Bridge Investment Group. Asset Living has been tapped to manage the community.
