BWE Secures Financing for The Junction Student Housing Property Near Texas State

San Marcos, Texas — BWE has secured financing for the acquisition and improvement of The Junction, a 488-bed student housing community located near the Texas State University campus in San Marcos. Chris Carroll and Max Miller of BWE secured the financing through Byline Bank on behalf of the borrower, Campus Realty Advisors. The community offers a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom units. Shared amenities include a swimming pool and fitness center. Updates to the property will include the addition of a new state-of-the-art clubhouse, leasing center, study areas and community gathering space; a bus stop; grilling stations; a fire table; and new pool furniture. Renovations will also include refreshed exterior paint, HVAC and water heater replacement, new property fencing and updates to the community’s security system, signage and landscaping. A timeline for the planned improvements was not announced.
