Tallahassee, Fla. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the $16 million sale of Vertex, a 310-bed student housing community located at 1832-1834 Jackson Bluff Road near the Florida State University campus in Tallahassee. Travis Prince, Victoria Marks and Shawn Lubic of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Tioga Capital, in the disposition of the property to Crescent Sky Capital. The six-building community was developed in 1968 and underwent property-wide renovations throughout 2021 and 2022. Vertex features shared amenities including two resort-style swimming pools, a fitness center, yoga studio, on-site laundry facilities and a dedicated bus stop for travel to and from campus. “This student housing community is a lucrative asset in a desirable pedestrian location within close proximity to the Florida State University campus and offers significant upside yielding immediate returns,” says Prince.
