Fundraiser Established for Employees of The Preiss Co. Injured in San Diego Shooting

San Diego — Lane Sheer and Toni Yrlas of The Preiss Co. (TPCO) were the innocent victims of gun violence while attending this year’s NAA conference in San Diego.

Both were shot after an unrelated altercation broke out on the street near them in downtown San Diego. Both Sheer and Yrlas are going to survive, but the recovery process will be extensive. A fundraiser has been set up via Go Fund Me for those wanting to help.

“If you’ve ever met Lane and Toni before, you know how kind and sweet these two are,” said Adam Byrley, COO of TPCO. “They are long time TPCO employees and have been an integral part of our company culture. Our collective families are devastated. The multifamily industry is a tight knit community and so many of you have reached out and asked to donate or help. We are so appreciative of all the prayers and offers to help.”
