Oxford, Miss. — Heritage Properties has acquired The Connection at Oxford, an 816-bed student housing property located at 2000 Oxford Way on the University of Mississippi campus. The 14-building community was developed in 2008 and offers two-, three- and four-bedroom units with bed-to-bath parity. Community amenities include a 24-hour athletic club; game room with billiards; basketball and sand volleyball courts; a clubhouse; private study rooms; a resort-style swimming pool and spa; pet park; computer lounge; barbecue areas; and a picnic area with a gazebo and fire pits. Teddy Leatherman, Stewart Hayes and Scott Clifton of JLL Capital Markets represented the seller, Trimont Real Estate Advisors, in the transaction.
