San Antonio — Palladius Capital Management has acquired The Luxx, a 694-bed student housing property located one mile from the academic center of The University of Texas at San Antonio campus. The community was built in 2014 and offers fully furnished units with bed-to-bath parity. Shared amenities include a swimming pool, volleyball court, fitness center, dog park and outdoor grills. The new ownership plans to begin capital improvements at the property imminently, which will include the addition of new stainless-steel appliances and improvements to bathrooms in units; and upgrades to the community’s fitness center, swimming pool, dog park, courtyard and clubhouse. The seller and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
