Reno, Nev. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of an assemblage of four land parcels located near the University of Nevada campus totaling 1.34 acres for $5.3 million. The site — titled the Highland Ave Student Housing Assembly — is located at 433 Poplar St., 434 Highland Ave., 438 Highland Ave. and 456 Highland Ave. Randy Pease of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Canon Investment Group, in the transaction. The buyer was Latigo Group.

Travis Prince, Victoria Marks, Gib Kerr and Jeffrey Bentz of Cushman & Wakefield represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. University Partners acquired the property for an undisclosed price. Columbia, S.C. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of The Southern @ 1051, a 1,002-bed student housing community located near the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia. Travis Prince, Victoria Marks, Jordan McCarley and Paul Marley of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the disposition on behalf of the seller, an undisclosed CMBS Trust. Ernet Capital Management acquired the property for an undisclosed amount.

Hattiesburg, Miss. — Hamilton Point Investments has acquired a 420-bed student housing community located near the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Travis Prince, Jimmy Adams, Craig Hey and Andrew Brown of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller, Crowne Partners. Terms of the transaction were undisclosed. The community offers shared amenities including a resort-style swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, game room, clubhouse, coffee lounge, study center and on-site access to the Long Leaf Trace walking trail.
