Marietta, Ga. — Campus Realty Advisors has acquired The Beacon, a 456-bed student housing community located near Kennesaw State University’s Marietta campus in Georgia. Chris Carroll and Max Miller of BWE arranged financing for the acquisition. The property, which is fully leased for the 2023-2024 academic year, offers 158 units with bed-to-bath parity. Shared amenities include a yoga room and fitness center, resort-style swimming pool, private study rooms, package delivery lockers and free resident parking. Campus Realty Advisors’ property management division, Campus Realty Management, will manage the property. The seller and terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “As Kennesaw State continues to expand its student body, communities like The Beacon are essential to meeting the growing demand for purpose-built student housing,” says Carroll of BWE.
