Lexington, Ky. — Capstone Real Estate Investments (CREI) has acquired The Mark at Lexington, a 676-bed student housing community located near the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington. The seller and terms of the transaction were undisclosed. CREI plans to renovate and reposition the property, with upgrades set to include the development of new one- and two-bedroom unit options and enhancements to security, building accessibility and management services. The community currently offers two- and four-bedroom units alongside shared amenities including a basketball court, volleyball court, game room, swimming pool, business center, tennis courts, a 24-hour fitness center and a clubhouse.
