Conway, S.C. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of The Current at Coastal, a 128-unit student housing property located near the Coastal Carolina University campus in Conway.
The community was recently renovated, with updates including the addition of new furniture, fresh paint in units, upgrades to appliances and HVAC units, and a clubhouse refurbishment. The property offers shared amenities including a 24-hour fitness center and study lounge.
Travis Prince, Shawn Lubic, Victoria Marks and Tai Cohen of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the sale on behalf of special servicer LNR Partners. The property, which was 83 percent leased at the time of sale, was acquired by Walk2Campus Properties.
