Chapel Hill, N.C. — ING Clarion Partners has purchased The Warehouse, an off-campus housing community serving students of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, from Harrison Street Real Estate Capital for $19.9 million. Constructed in 1999, The Warehouse is located on West Rosemary Street, three blocks from the school’s main campus. It contains 55 apartments in a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom units. Amenities include a fitness center, a private rooftop deck, a skylit atrium and reserved parking. The building is currently fully occupied and already has strong pre-leasing commitments for the 2011-2012 school year.
