Houston — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Vue on MacGregor, a 347-bed student housing community located near the University of Houston campus. Teddy Leatherman, Scott Clifton, Kevin Kazlow and Danielle Ric of JLL represented the seller, Trimont, and procured the buyer, Axonic Properties, in the transaction. Built in 2014, the community was 96 percent occupied at the time of sale. The property offers a mix of fully furnished one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units. Shared amenities include dedicated study rooms, a swimming pool, two fitness centers, a business center and dog park. The development is situated .5 miles from the university’s campus at 4460 South MacGregor Way. “We are excited to expand our student housing portfolio in Houston, which is now a member of a power five conference starting this year,” says Jonathan Shechtman, managing principal at Axonic Properties.
