Landmark Properties Acquires 1,290-Bed Student Housing Community in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Baton Rouge, La. — Landmark Properties has acquired The Lodges at 777, a student housing community located in Baton Rouge, roughly two miles from Louisiana State University (LSU). Constructed in 2011, the property comprises 1,290 beds across 382 units. Amenities at the community include a resort-style swimming pool with cabanas, two-story clubhouse, gaming areas, study spaces and a fitness center with on-demand fitness classes and a yoga studio. The property was 100 percent pre-leased for the fall 2023 term at the time of sale. CBRE National Student Housing’s Jaclyn Fitts, William Vonderfecht and Casey Schaefer represented the undisclosed seller in partnership with Grant Ridgway of CBRE’s Louisiana Multifamily division. “We’re excited to add The Lodges at 777 to the Landmark portfolio,” says Wes Rogers, Landmark’s president and CEO. “Thanks to the hard work of our acquisitions and investment team in a difficult environment, Landmark is still acquiring attractive student properties at top-tier universities across the country.”
