Baton Rouge, La. — Landmark Properties has acquired The Lodges at 777, a student housing community located in Baton Rouge, roughly two miles from Louisiana State University (LSU). Constructed in 2011, the property comprises 1,290 beds across 382 units. Amenities at the community include a resort-style swimming pool with cabanas, two-story clubhouse, gaming areas, study spaces and a fitness center with on-demand fitness classes and a yoga studio. Ruston, La. — Timberline Real Estate Ventures has sold CEV Ruston, a 432-bed community serving students attending Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. Constructed in 2008, the property offers two- and four-bedroom fully furnished units. Shared amenities include a fitness center, group and private study rooms, a computer center and swimming pool. The community is situated adjacent to campus at 1812 W. Alabama Ave. Scott Clifton, Stewart Hayes, Teddy Leatherman, Kevin Kazlow and Jack Goldberger of JLL represented Timberline in the disposition of the property to Briar Meads Capital.

Baton Rouge, La. — TSB Realty has arranged the sale of Oakbrook Apartments, a 466-bed community serving students attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Versity Investments purchased the property from an affiliate of RISE: A Real Estate Co. for an undisclosed price. The property was renovated in 2016 and 2017 and offers communal amenities including a clubhouse, two-resort style swimming pools, a coffee bar, 24-hour fitness center and 24-hour business center. 

Baton Rouge, La. — Landmark Properties, in partnership with Halstatt Real Estate Partners, has acquired The Exchange at Baton Rouge, an 898-bed student housing community located near the Louisiana State University campus in Baton Rouge. The garden-style property offers one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units. Shared amenities include three resort-style swimming pools, four courtyards, bike storage, a volleyball court, fitness center, cybercafé and game room. Landmark plans to modernize the community, which was purchased for an undisclosed price. Ryan Lang, Jack Brett and Ben Harkrider of Newmark brokered the transaction.
