West Lafayette, Ind. — Subtext has broken ground on a 449-bed student housing development located near the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette. The community will span 245,700 square feet at 143 W. Wood St., just outside the southeastern edge of the university’s campus. The property is set to offer one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom, fully furnished units with bed-to-bath parity. Shared amenities will include a coffee bar, club room, study rooms, a fitness center, pet grooming area, swimming pool, spa and dog run. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2025. The development team includes Brinkmann Constructors and ESG Architecture and Design.
