Yugo Hires Joe Persechino as Chief Operating Officer

London — Global student housing operator Yugo has hired Joe Persechino as chief operating officer. In his new role, Persechino will optimize the company’s performance and customer engagement from offices in London. Persechino brings over 20 years of experience in the student and residential housing sectors. He most recently served as head of residential and student accommodation with AXA IM Alts, where he was responsible for strategy, deal origination and investment advice. “I am delighted to welcome Joe to Yugo,” says CEO Rui Barros. “His decades of experience across student and residential markets, from both the investor and operational perspective, will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen the Yugo brand.
