Baltimore, Md. — The University of Maryland, Baltimore County is set to offer Comcast’s Xfinity On Campus service to students. The service allows students living on campus to watch live television and on-demand and recorded content on their IP-enabled devices, including laptops, tablets and smartphones. Students are also able to watch television off campus through the Xfinity Stream application. Xfinity On Campus offers more than 100 live channels including every major broadcast network, as well as channels like AMC, Bravo, ESPN, FX and MTV.

Towson, Md. — Construction is underway on Towson Row, a $350 million mixed-use development in downtown Towson, Maryland. The 1.2 million-square-foot development — located near Towson University — will include over 75,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 150,000 square feet of Class A office space, 300 student housing units, 200 luxury high-rise residential units and a 220-room hotel.
