Arlington, Texas — Newmark has arranged the sale of and acquisition financing for Maverick Place, a 382-bed student housing community located near the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) campus. Ryan Lang, Jack Brett and Ben Harkrider of Newmark represented the sellers, Waypoint UTA Maverick Place Owner LLC and Waypoint Maverick Land Owner LLC, in the transaction. Jorden Roeschlaub, Dustin Stolly, Ben Roelke, Ian Walker and Trent Houchin, also of Newmark, secured acquisition financing on behalf of the buyer, Axonic Properties LLC. The garden-style community offers a mix of one-, two and four-bedroom units with bed-to-bath parity. Shared amenities include a 24-hour fitness center and clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, game room, cyber cafe and a dog park. Located at 930 Benge Drive, the community is a short walk from the UTA campus and a variety of grocery stores, entertainment venues and restaurants in downtown Arlington.
