Austin, Texas — American Campus Communities has appointed Rob Palleschi as the company’s CEO as part of a succession plan, effective January 17. Co-founder and current CEO Bill Bayless will be transitioning to vice chair of the company. The changes come five months after the ACC was acquired by Blackstone. She will be taking over the CFO position from Daniel Perry, who is retiring from the Austin, Texas-based company after serving ACC for almost 18 years in a variety of roles.
