Austin, Texas — American Campus Communities has promoted Brian Bowers to senior vice president of construction management. Bowers joined the Austin, Texas-based company in 2015 as director of development management. In his new role, Bowers will continue to lead ACC’s construction management group and aid in the company’s efforts to increase its development pipeline. Since joining ACC, Bowers has assisted in the execution and delivery of over 15,000 beds. He also played a pivotal role in the development and construction supervision of Flamingo Crossings Village at Walt Disney World Resort. 

Austin, Texas — Bill Bayless will retire from American Campus Communities (ACC) effective April 21, nearly 30 years after co-founding the company. Austin, Texas — Post Totem has launched a digital display offering for student housing communities.  The 75-inch displays — which will be placed in high-traffic sites like the mail room, lobby or social gathering spaces — offer an ancillary revenue stream for property owners and operators. The customizable displays can feature content including social media feeds, events, interactive maps and advertisements.
