Austin, Texas — University House Communities has topped out it’s fully preleased property University House Austin, located at the corner of 21st Street and San Antonio Street one block away from the University of Texas at Austin campus.
Oak Brook, Ill. — Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, GIC and The Scion Group have formed a student housing joint venture to acquire, through a subsidiary, University House Communities Group for approximately $1.4 billion.
Baton Rouge, La. — University House Communities (UHC) has purchased the purpose-built student housing community currently known as The Standard Baton Rouge near Louisiana State University from Landmark Properties and will rebrand it University House.
Tuscaloosa, Ala. — University House Communities (UHC) has purchased the student housing community currently known as South 10 Apartments near the University of Alabama and will rebrand it University House.
Norman, Okla. — University House Communities (UHC) will develop a new University House community on the site of the current Bishop’s Landing apartments near the University of Oklahoma.
Dallas — Inland American Communities (IAC) has rebranded itself to become University House Communities (UHC).
