Boston — Skanska has partnered with Simmons University to develop a $311 million living-learning center on the institution’s Boston campus. Upon completion, the development will offer 1,000 beds of student housing; meeting and social spaces; office support space; a 500-seat dining facility; and a fitness facility including a swimming pool, gymnasium, rowing tanks and a weight room. The buildings, which total 62,000 square feet, were acquired for $1.9 million.
